Norfolk and Suffolk Promotions believes that possessing an upbeat, positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping people is the foundation for becoming a fantastic sales and marketing professional.
In the pursuit of forming the strongest workforce possible Norfolk and Suffolk Promotions recently held a meeting for its workforce, where Managing Director Simon Reynolds discussed the importance of nurturing a ‘Glass half full’ mentality and a winning attitude.
‘Winners recognise that even though something may be difficult, success is possible, whereas, those with a non-winning attitude believe that while it’s possible, it is too difficult to attempt. This defeatist attitude prevents progress; they are too busy waiting for things to happen when they should be out making them happen. We want to build a community of winners, which is why I felt it so important to hold this meeting with our workforce, to help them go out and take charge of their own success.’ States Mr Reynolds.
Research from British Psychological Society has confirmed that a winning attitude is essential to success in a landmark study of business leaders, sports people and media professionals. Through in-depth interviews with 42 high achieving professionals the researchers found that while their approaches to achieving their goals differed, they all demonstrated around three to four of ten winning attributes relating to positive thinking and perseverance.
As a result of its meeting, Norfolk and Suffolk Promotions is continuing to urge its workforce to look for the positive in all situations to cultivate a winning attitude and find success. The event marketing industry is growing at an accelerated rate and agency is confident that a positive mentality will allow professionals to shine among the competition.
